Anri SALA
Albania/Germany

Born in 1974, in Tirana, Albania
Lives and works in Berlin, Germany
A key figure in contemporary art, Anri Sala develops a research on temporality based on the multiple relationships between image, architecture and sound. Through films, drawings and sculptures, the artist questions the contemporary world with a singular approach. The artist likes to immerse the spectator in melancholic universes where music holds a central place. His films deal with major existential themes and transform with great poetic force small narrations into universal stories.
